Unlimited Domains
The phrase unlimited domains is not uncommon in web hosting, but what does it really mean? Mauritius.biz Hosting offers you the ability to host unlimited domain in your Control Panel. Here's the difference in domains:
Addon Domains
An Addon domain is a domain that is hosted in an existing control panel, together with your Primary Domain (that you first bought, at the normal hosting price). An Addon domain is a fully hosted domain with full hosting features such as unlimited disk space, e-mail accounts, databases, web statistics, etc.
Hosting fees for Addon domains is discounted @ 800/year for each domain added. This fee as usual, includes the cost of 1 year domain name registration (For Addon .mu domain, it is discounted @ Rs 2,300/year which includes 1 year .mu registration fee).
If you would like to add more hosting domains to your existing control panel account, please place orders via our normal online Order Form and select "Addon Domain".
Parked Domains
A Parked Domain is NOT a hosted domain but a redirected domain. It simply points (redirected) to an existing website situated either on our server or any other server. It does not have any hosting features. This means you cannot upload a website or set up e-mail accounts on a Parked Domain.
Question: Why would you want a Parked Domain?
Answer: You may want to register additional domain names (because of branding, trade marks, etc.) and park them so that they may point to your existing main website.
Domain are Parked free of charge. You just need to pay the domain registration fee of Rs 275/year for each domain registered and parked. (A .mu domain is registered & parked @ discounted price of Rs 1,650/year).
